Further information about The Observer & The Observed:
The Observer & The Observed, an art exhibition exploring how our community sees mental health.  Throughout the first half of 2010, Sarasota artists interacted with families touched by mental health and behavioral challenges and created artistic depictions of these families.  The art was displayed at Art Center Sarasota for three months and was used as a springboard for community discussion around the topics of mental health, diversity, and stigma.  BRAD!BRYAN Multimedia Inc was tapped to create a documentary, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the project plus context around the main themes.  The above videos utilize footage from that documentary (slated for completion in early 2011).  The Observer & The Observed project was created by the Sarasota Partnership for Children's Mental Health in collaboration with Art Center Sarasota.  Learn more at www.ObserverMovie.com .
