Getting prenatal care is the right thing to do for your baby, even if you’re using drugs while you’re pregnant. Getting prenatal care helps ensure you and your baby will be as healthy as possible and may give you a better chance at keeping your baby once it’s born. Doctors and nurses are there to give you the best care possible, not to judge you or your choices.
