This PSA targets college-age young adults, explaining that marijuana use (no matter what it’s called and no matter the form) may be riskier than they think. With the explosive rise in fentanyl and similar opioids, some is ending up in marijuana through contamination. The extreme danger of fentanyl is discussed, along with the additional risk associated with polysubstance use (using more than one drug at the same time).
This PSA features a diverse cast of real students from State College of Florida to underscore that these are issues affecting everyone. Three of the cast members are personally touched by the topics, having lost close family members to overdose death.
