The Holding Cell, a dramatic short film by SOURCE Productions that Brad Bryan collaborated on, has bee accepted into several film festivals around North America in 2014.
Following its world premiere at the Sarasota Film Festival’s Moonlight Movies series in January, The Holding Cell was featured at the Shining Light Film Festival in Indianapolis. The REEL Recovery Film Festival, a multi-city festival centered around films dealing with addiction, will play The Holding Cell at its flagship events in New York (September 27) and Los Angeles (October 25). In addition, The Holding Cell will make its international debut in Toronto on September 20 as part of Commffest Global Community Film Festival.
The Holding Cell, a 35-minute film created locally with a Sarasota-based cast and crew, tells the story of one teenage girls freefall into the harrowing world of prescription drug abuse and addiction. Brad Bryan was producer, art director/propmaster, on-set sound recordist, editing consultant, and more on this low-budget, independent film.
