The Holding Cell, the dramatic short film by SOURCE Productions that Brad Bryan collaborated on, had its world premiere as the first in the Sarasota Film Festival’s Moonlight Movie 2014 series.
The Moonlight Movie series, a diverse group of films shown free to the public in various outdoor venues, is put on by SFF’s education division. The Holding Cell, a 35-minute film created locally with a Sarasota-based cast and crew, tells the story of one teenage girl’s freefall into the harrowing world of prescription drug abuse and addiction.
Brad Bryan was producer, art director/propmaster, on-set sound recordist, editing consultant, and more on this low-budget, independent film.
Although the films in the actual Sarasota Film Festival have not yet been announced, The Holding Cell hopes to be included and has already received some great press coverage, including an insightful interview with its writer/director, KT Curran.
